flexibility brAIn is suitable for owners of energy sources or energy-intensive technologies with the potential for regulation or accumulation, such as heat pumps, furnaces, reservoirs and tanks, HVAC systems, compressors, photovoltaic panels, or other technologies and energy sources.

The technologies can be regulated via the FUERGY Control unit or through the Metering and Regulation (MaR) system already in use. Each technology must be able to communicate with our software in online mode. An internet connection is, therefore, a must. In case the internet connection is not available at the delivery point, a GSM module with a SIM card can be installed.

The aim of flexibility brAIn is to reduce energy costs, not consumption itself. It does so by increasing or decreasing the power output of the regulated technology according to the needs of the power grid and the electricity supplier. The technology, therefore, provides the non-certified ancillary services for which the owner of the technology gets remunerated. The financial savings are generated at the level of the electricity supplier and the remuneration is paid to the owner of the technology in his monthly energy bill as a deduction from the total amount charged for electricity consumption. From the consumption perspective, it is common, that the owner of the technology pays less even with higher overall electricity consumption.

Higher electricity consumption does not at all imply a higher contribution to air pollution. flexibility brAIn just extends the utilization of the existing technologies. Apart from their main purpose, they are able to provide non-certified ancillary services and thus effectively replace traditional fossil fuel providers in a low-emission manner. As a result, the reduction of carbon emissions at the level of national electricity generation and distribution is achieved.

flexibility brAIn is currently available to non-regulated customers – i.e. large, small and medium-sized companies operating technologies with a regulation potential exceeding 20 kW. The regulation potential does not mean the power output of the technology itself, but only the power output that could be activated by the flexibility brAIn.
Note: A regulation potential of 20 kW is generally achievable by technologies with a power output of approximately 200 kW.

flexibility brAIn will not cost you a single cent. This solution is based on a symbiosis of all parties involved - the customer who provides his technologies, FUERGY which has the know-how and the system to regulate it, and the electricity supplier who can redistribute the generated savings. The financial effect achieved is displayed in the FUERGY app and it can be reviewed by each party at any time. At the end of the month, this effect is divided between the parties according to pre-agreed conditions.
